The Deira Clock Tower Reduces Energy Consumption by 90%

One of Dubai’s most treasured historical landmarks gets an environmental upgrade with TECHLUMEN LEDs

Half of the original number of luminaires were required to achieve maximum luminosity for the Deira Clock Tower
The Clock Tower shines brightly at night while realizing a significant 90% reduction in its annual KWh consumption with an equal reduction in energy cost
TechLumen used special optics LED with 187L/W output. SPC-XTE-288W were used
The previously-installed conventional lights produced an annual energy consumption of over 200,000 KWh (kilowatts per hour) to run 12 hours a day every day of the year, while these new TECHLUMEN LED’s output is expected at approximately 10,600 KWh for the year resulting in a substantial reduction in cost and consumption.
