We Wanna Go around the world! In vlog #20, we continue our adventure in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

It turns out that getting to the top of Burj Khalifa is expensive. It’s possible to take an elevator to floor 125 for approximately $120 USD. If you want to go to the top, it’ll cost you more. We opted to see the sunset from the top. Turns out, there’s a premium experience price for that. We payed $330 USD for the package called “At The Top”. This package grants you access to a special elevator that will take you to Sky Level at floor 148.

After purchasing this option, we blew our budget. So we decided to enjoy some free attractions. While at the Dubai Mall, the promenade area plays host to the well known Dubai waterfall show (Dubai Mall Fountain). Similar to the waterfall show at Bellagio in Las Vegas, it’s free and quite entertaining.

Later, we made our way to Dubai’s other luxury shopping centre. Mall of the emirates is an upscale shopping experience and home to the world famous indoor ski hill. Ski Dubai is completely indoors and offers a ski hill, snow tubing, snow games and even a penguin experience. Turns out, it actually doesn’t cost much more than an actual ski hill elsewhere in the world.

Even though we couldn’t afford to ski, we highly recommend going to the Mall of the Emirate sand just observing. The window views are plentiful and it’s a nice place to have a coffee and just sit back by one of the many Apres Ski style lounges.
