The Sheikh Zayed grand mosque is located in Abu Dhabi UAE. The capital city of The United Arab Emirates.

The largest mosque in the country.
Construction of the Sheikh Zayed mosque took eleven years from 1996 to 2007.

When it was opened to the public.
The mosque has world’s famous chandelier, carpet and minarets.
It can accommodate more than 40,000 worshippers.

The largest hand knotted carpet.the carpet is 5,627 square metres in size and was made by more than a thousand people.

The mosque is free to visit,and visitors.do not require to have entry tickets.

Visiting times are from 9 am to 10 pm.saturday , Thursday.

The mosque is usually closed be visitors on Friday morning but remains open worshipped.
