When is the best time for Desert Safari?
The best time for this and most of the outdoor activities in Dubai would be November through March. January was perfect enough, and we had loads of fun.

How do I get here?
There are a lot of package options available and easily searchable on google so plan ahead, call a couple of them to choose a good deal that’s suitable for you.

Is there pickup available with the packages?
Yes. Most package deals offer you pickup and drop facilities at a nearby location.

Can I drive myself to the desert safari?
Yes you can though once you reach the roadside it’s a good idea to let one of the agencies drive you up to the campsite unless you happen to own a good four-wheel drive sports car and are confident to take on the dunes and have actually done it before!!!

Can I take my toddler along?
Yes. You can definitely take your toddler to the desert Safari. They will enjoy the cultural events and the crowd, but you’ll have to skip all the sand sports. There are no sports suitable for toddlers less than 3.

Any tips to keep my toddler safe and comfortable during the safari?
1. Dress them up appropriately for the weather condition.
2. Make sure they’re well fed before you leave home.
3. Pack them snacks, food, and water or your toddler might actually end up starving until you got back home. The barbeque here isn’t really commendable.
4. Avoid shoes. Opt for sandals, ankle boots, or any footwear that wouldn’t actually hold the sand in.
5. Skip all the adventure sports. There isn’t any adventure sport suitable for toddlers younger than 3.
6. Keep your hands free for the roadside to the campsite drive as it’s going to be quite bumpy and you would want to hold your toddler securely. There wasn’t any car seat available, but its a pretty short drive of less than 5 minutes.
